We still have some places on our next beginners course which stats on the 14th may.
Beginners’ courses cost £60 per person and run for 5 weeks on a Saturday morning at Saffron Walden County High School. All equipment is provided, and you will not need to purchase any specialist kit in order to attend the course. The first 4 weeks introduce new fencers to the principles of fencing, enabling participants to gain the basic skills and confidence needed to fence effectively. In the final week you will join a group coached club session to experience electric fencing with club members of a similar age. If you decide that fencing is the sport for you then at the end of the course you will be ready to join the club and continue to develop your skills at our weekly coaching sessions.
Our next course will start on 14th May, and then run on 21st May, 11th June, 18th June and 25th June. We will be running 2 classes on each day; one between 9:30am and 11am and one between 11am and 12:30pm. Places are strictly limited with 6 places in the 9:30am class and 10 in the 11:00am class, and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
